Coronado Navy Swim Association has announced the estimated timeline for this weekend’s upcoming long course AB All Ages meet at the Brian Bent Memorial Aquatics Complex in Coronado.

• Friday: Start 5:00pm, finish 6:50pm.
• Saturday AM: Start 8:30am, finish 12:00pm.
• Saturday PM: Start 1:30pm, finish 5:35pm.
• Sunday AM: Start 8:30 am, finish 12:20pm.
• Sunday PM: Start 2:00pm, finish 5:50pm.

Warm-up assignments for each session are detailed on the downloadable information sheet.

San Diego-Imperial Swimming has published the initial version of its Checklist for Hosting a Swim Meet. This checklist is an attempt to capture all of the latest administrative and technical requirements for hosting a swim meet that meet directors need to know and accomplish.  This may be old news for some of our more experienced meet directors, but this information will be especially helpful for new meet directors or clubs who have not hosted a meet in a while.

Seasonal memberships for USA Swimming are on sale now at the SI Swimming Office for a fee of $33.00.  Seasonal memberships are valid from April 16, 2010 to September 12, 2010, and are only for swimmers competing at the local level.  Seasonal registrations are not valid for swimmers at the zone, sectional or national levels of competition.  The seasonal registration application form is available for download.

www.si-swimming.com is now www.si-swimming.org!

San Diego-Imperial Swimming announced today that it will be changing its website address and email address beginning Tuesday 20 April.  The change will be small – only the last 3 letters of the website address (technically known as the top-level domain) will be changing – from si-swimming.com to si-swimming.org.  According to an SI Swimming representative, the change ” will allow us to better reflect the non-profit status of our LSC, and place us in alignment with our parent organization, USA Swimming (usaswimming.org)

Of immediate importance to those trying to contact the SI Swim Office by email, a new email address is in place: office@si-swimming.org

Because the old .com website address and office email have been so widely circulated and linked to by our members, the .com address will continue to link to the new website and the old email address will continue to be monitored – at least for the next 30 days.

The results of the CAST-hosted C All Ages Meet held 17-18 April 2010 at the Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center pool in San Diego have been posted.

According to reliable sources, the 2010 CIF San Diego Section Swimming Championships will be held at the Brian Bent Memorial Aquatics Complex at Coronado High School. The Division I prelims are scheduled for May 19 and Division II prelims are scheduled for May 20.  Finals for both divisions will occur on Saturday May 22, with Division I finals beginning at 9:00am and Division II finals at 3:00pm.

College Area Swim Team has announced the estimated timeline for this weekend’s upcoming C All Ages meet at the Joan Kroc Center:

• Saturday: Start 9:00am, Finish 12:20pm.
• Sunday: Start 9:00 am, Finish 11:20am.

Warm-up assignments for Saturday and Sunday are as follows:

• 1st warmup (7:30-8:10): SBA, HSA, MVY,GWST, CNSA, CVAC, FSST
• 2nd warmup (8:10-8:50): PS, NCA, RSD, MEYR, PQAC, ICAC, BFST, PAC, PEN, STRY, any other
