San Diego-Imperial Swimming has announced the 28 swimmers and 4 coaches who have been selected to represent our LSC at the 2010 Western Zone Swimming Championship, to be held August 10-14 in San Jose. The swimmers selected are:

Meet Event File for LC Junior Olympics Updated

The meet event file for our upcoming long course Junior Olympics has been updated.  It was pointed out that the entry qualifying time for the 13-14 Boys 200M Butterfly in the “old” file was incorrect at 2:51.19.  The correct time standard for this event is 2:51.99, and the Meet Event file has been updated.  Teams are advised to download the “new” meet entry file before submitting their JO entries – but it will only affect 13-14 boys entries in the 200M fly!

North Coast Aquatics has announced the estimated timeline for this weekend’s upcoming long course AB All Ages meet at the Jewish Community Center pool in La Jolla.  For additional information and announcements concerning parking, tarps, restrooms, team timing assignments, and warmup procedures, carefully review the NCA meet information package and make your plans accordingly!

  • Friday: Start 5:00pm, finish 7:45pm.
  • Saturday AM: Start 8:30am, finish 12:00pm.
  • Saturday PM: Start 1:30pm, finish 7:00pm.
  • Sunday AM: Start 8:30 am, finish 12:00pm.
  • Sunday PM: Start 1:35pm, finish 7:30pm.

Mission Valley YMCA has announced the estimated timeline for this weekend’s upcoming C All Ages meet at the Bruce Hazard pool in Mission Valley.

  • Saturday: Start 9:00am, finish 12:45pm plus any relays.
  • Sunday: Start 9:00 am, finish 12:15pm plus any relays.

Warm-up assignments for both Saturday and Sunday are as follows:

7:00-7:30 MVY
7:30-8:10 SBA, HSA, GWST, TST, CAST, FSST, PENY, WSST
