The final day of competition for the 2010 edition of the President’s Day Senior Classic saw some great individual performances and spirited team support, as the overall team points winner was not determined until the final event of the day. New meet records were set right and left by the following:
- Linnea Mack (Osprey Aquatics) – Women’s 100Y Freestyle
- Phillip Geerdes (Escondido Swim Club) – Men’s 100Y Freestyle
- Chelsea Weedman (Pacific Swim) – Women’s 200Y Butterfly
- Jamey Lyon (North Coast Aquatics) – Men’s 1650Y Freestyle
- Osprey Aquatics – Women’s 400Y Freestyle Relay
- Walnut Creek Aquabears – Men’s 400Y Freestyle Relay
Coach Dave Kilmer’s College Area Swim Team claimed the overall first place team trophy by just 3 points over the runnerup Walnut Creek Aquabears and 13.5 points over 3rd place Pacific Swim. Jessica Heim from CAST was the Women’s top scorer, and her teammate Brandon Meier was the High-Point winner on the Men’s side.
