July 1st, 2010 at 6:44 pmIn this case, the results of the SBC B/C meet have not been posted because SI Swimming has not yet received the correct results file from the meet host, South Bay Aquatics, in spite of multiple requests. Once we receive the results file and review it for technical accuracy, SI Swimming will post the results to our website and send them to USA Swimming, usually on the same day we receive the results.

August 9th, 2010 at 11:24 amMy son swam a 1:10.96 (as recorded by SD-SI) in the 100 back boys 13/14 in the JO Max North meet on Saturday. I believe this is an “A” time, but it is recorded on his personal results as a “B”. Please advise. Thanks, Laurie

You mentioned your son’s “personal results” – by this I assume you mean the best times listing for your son from USA Swimming’s website. If that is the case, you have discovered the difference between our San Diego-Imperial local time standards and USA Swimming’s National Age Group time standards. Locally, we use A-B-C time standards and have JO time standards as well. Nationally, USA Swimming has motivational time standards which run from B-BB-A-AA-AAA-AAAA. In your son’s case, he has an “A” time for our LSC but has a B time for national purposes – both are correct.
