The meet event file for our upcoming long course Junior Olympics has been updated. It was pointed out that the entry qualifying time for the 13-14 Boys 200M Butterfly in the “old” file was incorrect at 2:51.19. The correct time standard for this event is 2:51.99, and the Meet Event file has been updated. Teams are advised to download the “new” meet entry file before submitting their JO entries – but it will only affect 13-14 boys entries in the 200M fly!

The Information Sheet and Application Packet for the San Diego-Imperial Swimming Western Zone Championships Team has been released. Zone Team applications must be submitted by Saturday, July 24.
Last year over 1,500 scholar athletes were recognized by the USA Swimming Scholastic All American program. The deadline for 2009-2010 Scholastic All-America applications is August 1. The deadline for qualifying swims is June 30. The requirements are:

The San Diego-Imperial Swim Office has a limited number of Maxon 49mHz 2-way radio headsets available for SI officials who would like to maintain their own headset instead of hoping one will be available for loan at the next swim meet. The cost of these radios has been heavily subsidized by SI Swimming, and any registered SI official can obtain one (while they last) for a small “donation” of $10.00 to San Diego-Imperial Swimming.
