Our athletes are the reason for the LSC’s existence. We need athletes to help make decisions on the future of the LSC. We currently have 4 athlete representatives that serve on our Board of Directors. We have a few athletes that serve on some committees, but we need a lot more participation. Safe Sport for Athletes
Keeping all athletes safe is a top priority of San Diego Imperial Swimming and USA Swimming. USA Swimming provides some training specific to athletes and non-athletes to learn more on how to keep our athletes safe. Please check out both of these resources:
Free Safe Sport Training for Athletes
Athletes 18 Years and older are required to create their own USA Swimming Log In Account (See Registration Tab for Instruction Document) and take the Athlete Protection Training. See link below regarding the new requirement.

Athlete Representation at Annual USAS Convention
San Diego Imperial Swimming is very fortunate to be able to send athlete representatives to the annual US Aquatics Sports Convention. We have gradually increased the number of athletes sent to convention from 1 to 4. We are extremely proud of how our athletes have contributed and participated in each convention.
