Subject: 2025 Western Zone San Diego Imperial Team

2025 Western Zone Cuts are the AAA 2024 – 2028 National Motivational Time Standards.

It was brought to the attention of the SI Board of Directors that our current eligible swimmers by age group are: 10/u girls- 3 qualifiers, 10/u boys- 1 qualifier and 11/12 boys – 5 qualifiers.

As an LSC we are interested in fielding the best possible team while giving our athletes opportunities to participate in the next level meet.

We can take a total of 8 swimmers per age group.  The board made the decision to allow 10/u girls and boys and 11/12 boys who have 1 or more AA cuts in events to apply to participate in Zones this year.  The coaching staff will have the final say on who will be selected to the team.

10/u swimmers are required to travel with their parents.  11/o swimmers are strongly encouraged to travel with the team.   The meet will be in Elk Grove, CA and the team will be flying to Sacramento on Aug 5 and returning Aug 10.
